Project Update--Plumbing Upgrades
After a busy weekend of shopping, packing, and cleaning for the back house; today we had our first major movement in updating . . . new water heater and fixtures. The old water heater had seen better days so we needed to have a plumber come in and install a new one. While he was here he also upgraded a few of our water fixtures . . .
It's not a whole lot, but to us it felt like a lot. At the very least it signaled that this project is for real and if we keep chipping away at it, we'll be living in our new place in no time.

While the plumber was here we had him install our new kitchen faucet. Nothing fancy, but a bit of a step up from before. |

Then in the shower, we had him replace the aging handles and spout. |

Little closer shot of the spout and knobs. We opted to go with the old style "H" and "C" handles. |

Finally, the aforementioned brand new, gas powered 40 gallon water heater. |
