Project Update--Plumbing Upgrades

After a busy weekend of shopping, packing, and cleaning for the back house; today we had our first major movement in updating . . . new water heater and fixtures. The old water heater had seen better days so we needed to have a plumber come in and install a new one. While he was here he also upgraded a few of our water fixtures . . .

While the plumber was here we had him install our new kitchen faucet. Nothing fancy, but a bit of a step up from before.

Then in the shower, we had him replace the aging handles and spout.

Finally, the aforementioned brand new, gas powered 40 gallon water heater.

It's not a whole lot, but to us it felt like a lot. At the very least it signaled that this project is for real and if we keep chipping away at it, we'll be living in our new place in no time.
